This is a tentative schedule of events for artists competing in Shadows Plein Air. This schedule is subject to change.

Saturday, March 9

  • 7:30 AM — Check-in & stamping at Shadows Visitor Center (320 E. Main Street, New Iberia)

  • 3 p.m. — Quick Draw in downtown New Iberia

Sunday, March 10 — Paint Delcambre (optional)
• 5:00 PM — Meet & Greet with live music & supper at The Pavilion

Monday, March 11 — Supper at private home

Tuesday, March 12
• 1:00 PM — Painting Demo by Judge John Poon at the Hilliard Art Museum (710 E. St. Mary Blvd., Lafayette) OPTIONAL
• Supper at private home

Wednesday, March 13

  • 4 p.m. — Art Talk with John Poon at UL-Lafayette OPTIONAL

Thursday, March 14
• 2:00 PM — Painting Demo by Judge John Poon in downtown New Iberia OPTIONAL
• 5:00 PM — Turn in Paintings at Shadows Visitor Center
• Shrimp supper at Shadows Visitor Center provided by Community First Bank

Friday, March 15
• 9:00 AM — Paint Out in downtown New Iberia OPTIONAL
• 6:30 PM — Awards Ceremony & Fine Art Sale at Shadows Visitor Center (320 E. Main St., New Iberia)
• 7:00 PM — Awards announcement begins

Saturday, March 16

  • Paintings on exhibit at Shadows Visitor Center until 4:00 p.m
